My desire is to give each session it's own special blog entry; where I get to reminisce and document each unique session. In the craziness of the fall/holiday sessions, the blogs were put to 'last on the list'. I have been playing catch-up yet here I sit, February 15th still blogging early November sessions. So I have decided to do a year end round-up.
Each session has special memories for me. I am so deeply grateful to each person that I met and was able to reconnect with this year doing what I love. I learned something about myself this past January. I took a few weeks off from photo shoots. The first week was relaxing, but then the blues started to creep in. Not too many days later, the depression set in. Unclear as to why I was feeling so down, I kept sinking. I was shooting personal stuff but it just wasn't enough. I got back to work at the end of January. The day of the shoot, I felt awake. I felt ready, I was excited. I learned that shooting, not just my own story, but other people's as well, helps to keep me out of my own personal darkness. Getting out there and meeting all of you, capturing a part of you and your loves, keeps me energized and challenged. Boredom and Nanci's brain is not a good mix.
So THANK YOU to all of my Nanci Imagery family (clients) for your business! Thank you for keeping me sane.
