Lil' man T's session was one of the smoothest sessions to date. T and his parents are from Astoria, Oregon and were in town visiting family. His Auntie Crystal persuaded his momma, Laurel, to have newborn photos done. I totally can relate to being overwhelmed, tired and scatterbrained after having my babies. Newborn photos were not on my mind. They are this new and tiny only once and in my opinion, it's so special and important to document this time. I think Laurel is happy that she decided to go forth with the session as we were able to capture some precious images.
Oh, and yes, you will be tired, busy and absent-minded after bringing a new life into the world. That is why it's best to contact a newborn photographer a few months BEFORE you deliver. That way you are already on the books and looking for a photographer is not something you will need to add to your 'to-do' list after their arrival.
